WHERE: METCO Headquarters, 11 Roxbury St., Roxbury

This annual meeting is a critical opportunity to show strong support for METCO in Reading. The meeting will include the Reading METCO Report and a chance to engage directly with elected School Committee members, school administrators, METCO personnel, FoRMETCO Board Members, and parents from both Reading and Boston.

Your presence at this meeting sends a clear message: METCO matters to Reading. It is a vital part of our school district, and ongoing community engagement is key to its future success.

METCO Advocacy Day 2025

Where: Massachusetts State House, 24 Beacon St., Boston

METCO relies on state funding, requiring advocacy and approval from the state legislature. It is essential to advocate for this funding to both maintain and enhance the impact of METCO’s Programs.

Festival of Trees Brunch

DAY: Saturday, December 7, 2024

TIME: 10:30am - 12:30pm

WHERE: UU Church of Reading, 39 Woburn St., Reading, MA

WHAT: Come meet other families over delicious food then continue to the Reading Education Foundation’s Festival of Trees at nearby Parker Middle School. This is a free event.
